I'm Sitraka, a Lead Backend Developer with 14 years of experience building and rebuilding the systems behind web platforms.
I'm a backend engineer from Antananarivo, Madagascar. I been doing server-side stuff for 14 years now, mostly with PHP and Go. Basically what I do is build APIs, work on making PostgreSQL run faster, and fix up old code without breaking the stuff that already works.
Right now I'm a Lead Backend Developer. Technical design meetings, writing architecture decision records, reviewing other people's code, helping new backend devs get up to speed. Also doing query optimization, setting up CI, building APIs with Symfony, Go and .NET, and keeping the legacy systems running. On top of that I also do frontend work pretty often, almost every day honestly.

When I'm not in front of a screen I'm usually with family, fixing something mechanical, or playing my guitar.
